Raúl Salas Reyes

Raúl Salas Reyes is an Environmental Science Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Physical and Environmental Sciences of the University of Toronto, Scarborough. His PhD research focuses on the impacts and operationalization of measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) and accounting provisions under the Paris Agreement. Raul also works as an international consultant with governments and businesses on topics relevant to GHG emissions inventories, MRV, and climate change policy.

 

Raúl holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Toronto, at Scarborough and a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, in Mexico. He also has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara.
